Terms of Service
Effective and last updated: August 2, 2026
Plain-language summary: TabRabbit offers a free local mode and optional recurring Cloud subscriptions. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. You remain responsible for the tabs and content you save. Contact support@tabrabbit.app if you need help, want to cancel, or want to request a refund.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TabRabbit browser extension, website, cloud sync, AI features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you create an account, provide accurate information, keep access to your email account secure, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account.
2. The Service
TabRabbit lets you save, organize, search, restore, and snooze browser tabs. Local mode stores data in your browser profile. Optional Cloud plans provide hosted sync and backup. Cloud + AI may send the saved-tab information described in our Privacy Policy to an AI service to perform features you request.
We may improve, modify, or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces a paid Service, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable and any remedies required by law.
3. Plans, prices, and payment
- Local: free, with no recurring subscription.
- Cloud: €2.99 per month or €23.99 per year.
- Cloud + AI: €3.99 per month or €31.99 per year.
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions. The checkout page displays the exact amount, billing period, any promotion, and applicable taxes before you authorize payment. Creem acts as merchant of record and processes payments, invoices, taxes, subscription management, and related transaction information. Promotional terms shown at checkout apply in addition to these Terms.
Founding 1,000 offer: while the offer remains available, the first 1,000 eligible subscribers receive 30% off the recurring subscription price for as long as that discounted subscription remains active. The discount is applied automatically to eligible products at checkout. The checkout total is authoritative.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval disclosed at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from TabRabbit's membership settings or through the Creem customer portal linked from your purchase email. You may also contact support@tabrabbit.app for help. Unless the cancellation flow states otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and paid access continues through the current paid billing period.
5. Refunds and consumer rights
To request a refund, email support@tabrabbit.app with the email address used at checkout and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within three business days. Refunds are processed through Creem and may take additional time to appear depending on the payment method.
Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances, applicable law, and any policy disclosed at checkout. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights you may have as a consumer, including rights relating to defective or non-conforming digital services and any applicable withdrawal rights.
6. Fair use and prohibited conduct
Paid plans include unlimited personal tab storage, subject to fair-use protections against automated abuse, excessive bulk uploading, or use as a general-purpose file or data hosting service. If a protection limit is reached, we may pause new uploads while preserving existing data and provide a way to contact support.
You may not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, evade usage or security limits, use it to store or transmit unlawful content, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, resell access without permission, or use automated means in a way that harms the Service or other users.
7. Your content and privacy
You retain ownership of the tab titles, URLs, notes, folders, and other content you submit. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to operate, secure, and provide the Service. Our collection and use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, branding, design, and documentation, is owned by TabRabbit or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service as intended; they do not transfer ownership to you.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service or other users, respond to legal requirements, address fraud or security threats, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
10. Service availability and warranties
We work to keep TabRabbit reliable, but no online service is uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. You should keep independent backups of information that is important to you.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer protections. To the extent permitted by law, TabRabbit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the Service. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business practices. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes where required. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights you have already accrued.
13. Governing rules
Applicable governing law and forum depend on the entity identified in your checkout and transaction documents and any mandatory laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of mandatory consumer laws and courts available to you.
